• Dog Friendly, budget accomodation, great location

  Stayed for two weeks Sept 2010. Lovely peaceful location, chalets positioned so as not to overlook each other. Playing table tennis in the games room was great fun (haven't played for years) and the wireless hotspot there was very useful seeing as we also couldn't get a signal on our mobile (Virgin). Accommodation definitely basic, but really all you need and having our dog with us made for a more relaxing holiday! Beats staying in a tent any day (which is the only alternative on price). Only drawback from our point of view is the steps up to the chalets (not easy for people with walking difficulties)

• Excellent Holiday for Families

  Although we last visited Little Orchard Village in October 2002, we can but recommend it to families!! Exactly what we needed, as we both work!! Our mobiles did not work (hurrah!!), the kids took themselves off to St Agnes Cove, and Halloween was wonderful!! No eggs, flour etc., being thrown at windows or cars. We highly recommend this place to stay having stayed there on and off over the last 11 years. The games room is ideal especially for a late night game of table tennis. My husband informs me that he first visited there 31 years ago! Just a tip, if you put bird food on the window sill birds do come down. Chaffinch, house sparrow, robin, blue tits and even once a green woodpecker (strange but true? ) Also listen for the owls at night!!
