    Best place for a quick simple lunch when shopping in truro. Old favourites on the menu - i.e. sarnies and jacket potatoes. Decor is a little outdated, but the staff are friendly enough and theres alway custom in which attests to the popularity of the backstreet cafe. Personally, I usually have the soup with a salad sandwhich which is always a lunch put together well. With a pot of tea for two. Perfect re-fuelling to get back to the shops. And if you can fit it in afterwards, theres always a tasty range of puds in the cabinets to delay your fourth return to topshop with her to look at the same item of clothing again!NB. May be difficult to get pushchairs in due to the stairs.
