Mahers Martial Arts Academy

Locating 'Mahers Martial Arts Academy' was absolute bliss. Recently relocated from Australia (five boys - aged 2 to 11 years in tow) to Truro, our boys were active and we desperately wanted to enrol them in sport activities. We contacted Mahers by telephone. After explanation of the Academy, and enquiry of the boys, their ages, temperament etc an initial trial day was set. Excellent - try before you buy! We were met, welcomed and the boys were shown individually the moves the class were doing. Where do we sign the dotted line? Signing the agreement to join is two fold - the monetary side, and the commitment side. Every child and their caregiver must agree to attend classes and participate to the best of their ability. After two weeks the boys were provided with uniforms. Two months later they have their first belts. My boys love martial arts. To some extent it has been our saviour. Physical activity for the boys on a regular basis but also descipline and respect for themselves and others. I can not recommend the Academy enough. Try it - I'm sure you'll agree.
