Brilliant beach-side restaurant

I first visited 'the cove' at Maenporth 2 years ago for a friends 21st birthday, and I was so impressed with every aspect of 'the cove' that I have been back several times since. The food there is amazing and because of the daily specials you never have to have the same thing twice (unless you want to of course!). Every dish is perfectly cooked, and they will tailor things to your request as well, my friend is a coeliac and she was told she could have any dish of the menu and that they would tailor it to her requirements. The staff always go out of their way to make you feel welcome and are knowledgable about the menu and genuinely seem happy to be there. On one occasion we had requested a window table but because the restaurant was full we couldnt get one. However as soon as one became available we were given the option of taking one which was really impressive. One of my favourite aspect of the cove is it's terrace. Its virtually on the beach so it's got great views and because of its big umbrellas (and blankets) it can be used throughout the year. The same menu and level of service applies to the terrace as well so its like an extension of the restaurant rather than an 'add -on' bit where you can smoke. I can't fault the place and I would recommend 'the cove' to anyone!
